In 2006, I received three grants to create a public art experience, the Cambridge Code/x, in which the public was invited to leave coded messages during a tone week period, over a two mile stretch between Harvard Square and Porter Square in Massachusetts.  As part of the project, I taught a graduate class, developed an integrated curriculum guide and a project website. This project inspired the Code Project lessons being taught to 5th graders.
