Kerrie L. Bellisario

I am an artist, creative leader, educator and social advocate. As I search for my own place in this world and ruminate on what the role of art and creativity means, I am reminded by a piece I read by one of my favorite artists, Christian Boltanski. He said, “Art-making is not about telling the truth but making the truth felt.”  Whatever the context of creative engagement, exploration or advancement, I aspire to make this "truth" felt in my work.
